"two times"

One of my kids is presented with phonological processes. These processes are normal until they persist age-inappropriately. I am now working on Final Consonant Deletion with him. An example of it is when you substitute 'pi' for 'pig.' So it's like its name, dropping the final consonant. One of his goals is to produce final consonants in CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. Working on CVC is basically like starting from scratch because there's not much inventory to begin with. Last week, this kido made my day by imitating what I said, "two times", which is CV-CVCC. WOW~~~ he couldn't even quite get his CVC right but his said CV-CVCC!

It seems that he rules the world. When asked to listen to me, follow my directions, and cooperate, he cried in front of me, just like that. Some obvious behavioral issues.
